Resonant

Resonant — Voice for Product Managers

Half your day
is writing.
Start talking instead.

PRDs, tickets, updates, stakeholder emails. You spend more time writing about the product than building the product. Resonant captures your verbal thinking and delivers polished written artifacts.

You already explain features, priorities, and tradeoffs clearly — in meetings, in hallway conversations, on Zoom. Resonant routes that into the documents your team actually needs.

The PM writing problem

Six meetings.
Then two hours writing
about what was said.

You attend the sprint review, the design crit, the stakeholder sync, the customer call. In each one, you're articulate. You explain the priority, the tradeoff, the decision. People leave aligned.

Then you sit down to write the PRD, the update, the ticket — and you're reconstructing from memory what you already said clearly two hours ago. The written version takes longer and says less.

Voice captures the output directly. The version you explained in the room — with the context, the reasoning, the edge cases — is the version that lands in the document. No reconstruction required.

“ok so the export flow, the main thing is users need to pick a format before they see the preview, right now they see the preview first and then pick the format and the preview changes which is confusing, so flip that order, format picker first then preview updates, and we need to handle the case where someone has more than fifty items because the CSV export times out, probably need to do that async with a download link sent to email, and the PDF option is P2 we can do that later”

Export Flow Revision

Reorder the export flow: users select a format first, then see the preview. Current behavior shows the preview before format selection, causing the preview to shift unexpectedly when the format changes.

For exports exceeding 50 items, CSV generation should run asynchronously. Send a download link via email instead of blocking the UI.

PDF export is P2 — not included in this iteration.

Stakeholder update — dictated walking back from a leadership sync

“so the launch is moving to March 15th, the API integration isn't ready, the partner team needs another two weeks, which honestly is fine because it gives us time to fix the onboarding drop-off we've been seeing, the funnel data from last week shows 40 percent of users drop off at step three which is the workspace setup, I think we can cut that step entirely for solo users and only show it for team plans, that should ship before the new date easily”

Launch Update — Week of March 3

Launch date moves to March 15. The API integration with the partner team needs two more weeks.

The delay creates an opportunity: last week's funnel data shows 40% of users dropping off at step 3 (workspace setup). Proposed fix: skip workspace setup entirely for solo users and only present it on team plans. This should ship well before the revised launch date.

Net effect: later launch, but better activation rates at launch.

Both dictated in under 30 seconds. The written version would have taken 15 minutes each. On-device — nothing leaves your Mac.

Where it fits

The writing that fills
a PM's day.

PRDs and specs

You already walk through the user problem, the constraints, and the proposed solution in every planning meeting. Dictate that version. It has the context, the tradeoffs, and the reasoning your written PRDs usually lose.

Stakeholder updates

The weekly status email. The exec summary. The cross-functional update. You know what matters and what to flag. Say it in two minutes instead of drafting it in twenty.

Ticket descriptions

The acceptance criteria, the edge cases, the context that prevents engineers from asking six follow-up questions. Dictate the thorough version. Let Resonant structure it.

Meeting follow-ups

Walk out of the room and capture what was decided, who owns what, and the one thing that shifted. Before the next meeting overwrites it.

Competitive analysis notes

You just finished the competitor demo or read the launch post. Your reactions are sharp right now. Dictate the analysis while the observations are fresh and specific.

User feedback summaries

You sat in on three customer calls this week. The patterns are clear in your head. Dictate the synthesis before it fades into vague impressions.

Meeting transcription

Every conversation
becomes searchable.

User interviews. Stakeholder syncs. Sprint reviews. Design critiques. The insights from these meetings are your raw material — and most of them vanish within 24 hours.

Resonant transcribes meetings on your Mac. Full transcripts, searchable by keyword, stored locally. When a stakeholder says “we need this by Q3” and you need to find exactly when and why — it's there.

Transcripts are also queryable via MCP, so your AI tools can pull context from real conversations — not your memory of them.

User interview — Feb 12

“The biggest friction point is the export. I have to re-enter all the metadata every time I export a report. If it just remembered my last settings, I'd save twenty minutes a week.”

Searchable. Quotable. Attributable.

Stakeholder sync — Feb 14

“Legal needs the data residency controls before we can close the enterprise deal. It's a hard blocker — they won't sign without it.”

Context for prioritization decisions, months later.

Sprint review — Feb 16

“The performance fix cut load time from 4.2 seconds to 1.1 seconds on the dashboard. We should flag this in the next release notes.”

MCP-queryable for release notes, retros, planning.

Product strategy
stays on your Mac.

Roadmap priorities. Competitive positioning. Pricing discussions. Unreleased feature plans. The content of your day is the kind of information competitors would pay for.

Cloud dictation tools transmit your audio to external servers. Every PRD section you dictate, every stakeholder update, every competitive analysis — creates a record on infrastructure you don't control.

Resonant processes everything on your Mac. No audio leaves your device. No vendor has access to your product strategy. The finished text is the only thing that moves — and only when you send it.

How it works

One hotkey. Thirty seconds. Done.

01

Press the hotkey

Works in any app on your Mac — Notion, Linear, Jira, Slack, Google Docs, a text field in any browser. No window to find, no app to switch to.

02

Speak naturally

Talk the way you'd explain it in a meeting. Filler words, restarts, tangents — Resonant handles the cleanup. You handle the thinking.

03

Clean text lands

Structured, clear, in your voice. The PRD section that reads like you spent twenty minutes on it. The update that sounds like you, not a template.

Free. Private. Instant.
